DSCC
Dry Stone Canada Co-Operative (DSCC) is a non-share capital co-op. Members of our co-op pay a fee to join, then pool resources (knowledge, equipment, labour, etc.) and split any assets. In this way, the co-op has administrative support to conduct business, as well as funds for professional development, travel expenses, and/or materials.

There are currently 17 members of the DSCC; all are professional dry stone practitioners and are committed to preserving Canada’s built heritage and to promoting the art and craft of dry stone construction in this country and abroad.

This form of co-operative complies with the initial goal of Dry Stone Canada Co-Op: to “start a business to provide employment for practitioners of dry stone construction and heritage, which makes a profit that can be invested among members for training, travel, and working with the Association (Dry Stone Canada).”
